This weekend workshop covers the fundamental Photoshop skills and tools used by photographers to enhance their digital images and create an effective workflow.
During two, six-hour days, Mitch explores the possibilities, limitations, essential shortcuts, and straightforward techniques for getting the most out of the digital photography process. We review the basic application tools and the essential methods and techniques needed take images to the next level. With this understanding, we then learn to edit, catalog, enhance, automate routine tasks, and create output presentations across multiple media, including print, web, and digital projections.
The workshop will benefit the beginner Photoshop user as well as the intermediate user in need of brushing up on skills or rounding out their Photoshop knowledge.

This in-depth workshop presents the basics of editing, processing, and exporting images for print, web, and digital archive using Adobe Lightroom.
It covers organizational skills by setting up catalogues, file structures, and collections that make images easy to find. The workshop also covers retouching, tonality, contrast control, color saturation, converting color images to black and white, and printing methods.
Level: Beginner.

This workshop teaches the professional skills necessary to craft exhibition-quality prints with an Epson printer.
While modern Epson 'prosumer' printers are capable of producing high quality digital prints, they don't work optimally out of the box. The two-day weekend course teaches participants how to get the prints they envisioned out of their Epson printer. The focus is on printing with both color and black/gray pigment inks on coated and rag papers.

Mitch Soileau has worked as the studio/production manager for photographer Joyce Tenneson in New York City and as the first assistant to Debbie Fleming Caffery.
He has taught Photoshop at the Maine Photographic Workshops, and studio workshops for Joyce Tenneson and private instruction.
Mitch has performed retouch work for the New York Times Magazine, Vanity Fair, Time Magazine and several other major publications.
Mitch is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design. He is currently the imaging specialist at The Darkroom Visual Solutions in New Orleans, Louisana.
